These videos are part of a communication approach I design to engage people and encourage them to consider joining the TC community. Communication can be a complex design challenge, so it's essential to experiment with different video formats. Personally, I prefer videos without voiceovers, relying on natural sounds and occasional cutaways to showcase the surrounding environment. For this project, the build wasn't highly technical, so I aimed for a straightforward visual narrative that speaks for itself.
Reverse engineering is an invaluable exercise—taking things apart is a fantastic way to understand the design choices behind them.
And being a frugal New Englander has taught me a lot about building and repairing. A new VT cart runs over $500, but for just $53 in plywood, I now have a sturdy cart that will last another decade.
